Netflix streaming giant made a recent announcement about its initiative of shifting the way to rank top viewed content that is available on the platform. Now, it recently launched ten new Netflix websites to share new metrics every week.
Earlier, in October during the earning call, the company said, “shifting away from its two-minute viewing time metric to instead rank top-viewed titles by a total number of hours viewed”.
The newly launched Top 10 on Netflix website will be helpful in bringing convenience for viewers. It will be updating the list of top watched content of Netflix every Tuesday. This list will be including several categories like – Films (English), TV (English), Films (Non-English), and TV (Non-English).
As the company said, “The lists will count seasons of series as separate titles, but it will count repeated watches within a season toward that season’s overall watch hours, for example, if you watch a scene in a single episode repeatedly”.
Meanwhile, Netflix also brought a new gaming service officially for all its iOS users. The Verge has been confirmed that it has launched its five games that are already available on the App Store, and individuals can download them effortlessly.
These recently launched games by Netflix include, ‘Stranger Things: 1984’, ‘Shooting Hoops’, ‘Teeter (Up)’, ‘Stranger Things 3: The Game’, and ‘Card Blast’.
